Bright Tangerine Leftfield QR Baseplate for Sony FS7/FX9

Description

The Sony FS7 & FX9 Left Field QR baseplate provides 15mm rod support for accessories with a standard ARRI dovetail quick release base.

The baseplate has a standard ARRI dovetail clamp that can be used with the left field ARRI dovetail plate to provide quick camera release for changing from tripod to shoulder mount or setups gimbal. The sliding base also allows for fine adjustment to provide optimal balance for the camera operator.

Multiple 1/4″-20 and ARRI 3/8″ accessory mounts on the baseplate allow additional accessories to be mounted on the baseplate as well as side plates for a complete camera cage solution.

The baseplate mounts two standard 15mm LWS rods which are secured with kip levers. If you have to travel frequently, two sets of shorter rods can be used to create a longer rod holder, making storage easier. If only one set of long rods is used, the front and rear kip levers can be used to provide additional rigidity.

This kit is compatible with Sony FS7 I, FS7 II & FX9 cameras as well as Canon C100/C300/C500 cameras. If you own, rent, or work with multiple cameras, you can use the baseplate with other camera systems by replacing the mounting block.

Built to last, the baseplate is made from a single block of aluminum to withstand the most extreme environments.
