The new Sony Alpha 7R V hybrid succeeds the A7R IV and benefits from the latest technological advances of the Alpha 1, 7SIII and 7IV models, including the powerful BionzXR processor, the new menu architecture and the Photo and Video universe selection wheel .
The A7R V also incorporates new features, such as a 4D dual-ball head display for line-of-sight or side-view use, 8-stop stabilization for handheld shooting with exposure under 1 second, and a Focus Bracketing feature much requested by macro and close-up users.
The most important novelty is the introduction of an additional chip dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and deep learning, which will allow the A7R V to offer real-time focusing and monitoring of the complete human body, as well as as animals, insects, cars, trains and planes.
In addition, the device has an improved pixel shift function up to 240 Mp, which can be used outdoors with support for light movements, as well as an extended video function displaying 8K 25p and video. 4K 4:2:2 at 10 bits internally. In sum, the Alpha 7R V is a high-end and demanding box, but easy to use like the Alpha 7 IV, offering unlimited creativity in high resolution.
